After a thorough consultation with her patients and evaluating their primary concerns Dr. Kitto creates a customized plan which may involve a single procedure or a series of treatments depending on the patient’s goals. Kybella™ injections is a relatively quick, painless in-office procedure. Individual results may vary and depending on the area to be treated patients may need several treatments.

Recovery

Recovery after Kybella™ injections is fairly quick. There is minimal to no downtime. Some patients may experience mild swelling which is temporary.

What happens during the Kybella™ injection procedure?

When deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body, is injected underneath your chin, it will destroy fat cells so they can no longer store or accumulate fat.

How long will it take to see results after getting Kybella™ injections?

Depending on the patient, results can be achieved in one appointment or may require several treatments. You may receive up to six treatments. The average number is 2–4.
